Pegasus Community Care
At Pegasus Community Care, we specialise in providing support for individuals with complex behavioural needs within the NDIS. We offer Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Participation (CP) programs designed to promote independence, social engagement, and improved quality of life. Our focus is on creating safe, supportive environments that cater to the unique challenges of individuals with complex behaviours, while adhering to NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards. We work closely with participants to ensure personalised care plans and behaviour support strategies are effectively implemented.
The Neuro Nest
The Neuro Nest is a welcoming space designed to support neurodiverse individuals through both therapy-based sessions and social and community participation activities in a safe, inclusive environment. Its mission is to empower participants by fostering self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and meaningful connections, while celebrating their unique strengths.
The Neuro Nest’s approach focuses on:
· Our Place: A calming, sensory-friendly setting that provides comfort and security.
· Our People: Peer-led sessions guided by therapists or assistants with lived neurodivergent experience, creating a supportive, judgment-free community.
· Our Passions: Offering a combination of therapy-based and social/community participation sessions tailored to each participant’s interests, promoting authentic self-expression and emotional growth.
Sessions are available throughout the week and are designed for children (ages 4-14), youth (ages 14-17), and young adults (ages 18-30).

Healthy Change Challenge
Healthy Change Challenge (HCC) is a fun and empowering health program and NDIS provider
that has been operating in Newcastle and the Hunter for more than 8 years.
Program participants take charge of exercise, shopping, cooking and mindfulness sessions
working in collaborative teams and have improved across all fields of physical and mental
wellbeing testing conducted by the University of Newcastle
Whitmore Ltd
Witmore Ltd is a not for profit disability service committed to supporting individuals with disabilities through a wide variety of services, including community programs, respite care and support coordination. We also offer engaging supported holidays, social outings and events. Additionally, we provide supported employment opportunities at our Witmore Workshop and Riverside Kiosk. ABCARE Disability Support
ABCARE Disability Support have trained staff to assist you to develop a program that makes things easier for you to manage and remain as independent as possible. Our team will work with you to develop your skills to ensure these tasks are completed safely.
IN HOME SUPPORT: personal care and grooming, meal preparation, cleaning and household tasks, overnight support, maintaining independence within individual homes.
COMMUNITY ACCESS: Attending favourite leisure activity, appointment atttendance, exercise and sport, developing social skills, errands, travel training (public transport), religious attendance, support in family and friend social events.
HOLIDAY SUPPORT: tailoring supports to ensure you have a safe and happy holiday
